how to stop nagging without doing everything yourself

Stopping nagging doesn't mean going quiet and doing it all. It means fewer reminders and clearer agreements.

  1. Make one clear request. One ask, said once, with the actual thing you need.
  2. Agree who owns it, and by when. An owner with a deadline doesn't need reminding. A helper does.
  3. Choose the follow-up together. "If it's not done by Sunday, we'll talk about it then." Then wait for Sunday.

before: "are you ever going to do that?"

after: "can we agree on when this needs to be done?"
